PLG is pleased to welcome Bonnie Levine as a Partner in the firm’s Employment & Labor, International, and Ethics & Compliance practice groups in Atlanta, GA. Bonnie advises on all aspects of managing a global workforce, specializing in managing workplace change. She counsels a wide range of clients from tech startups to Fortune 500 companies, handling international expansion, cross-border mobility, and buy- and sell-side M&A. A local circle co-convenor for the Association for Workplace Investigations (AWI), Bonnie conducts external workplace investigations and helps employers design and manage internal investigation processes.
Bonnie is a recognized thought leader on workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion laws. In 2022, she coauthored an article in Harvard Business Review in 2022, “To Drive Diversity Efforts, Don’t Tiptoe Around Your Legal Risk,” and has been interviewed on legal developments impacting workplace DEI in publications such as ABA Journal, NPR, and Quartz.
Her experience also encompasses civil rights and public-sector and federal contractor compliance, interpreting administrative regulations, navigating internal agency processes, sunshine laws, and First Amendment / due process considerations. Bonnie has represented both employees and employers in public-sector disputes, has conducted investigations for municipalities, and served as appointed general counsel to a county ethics board.
Prior to joining PLG, Bonnie was a partner at gunnercooke US LLP and a shareholder at Ogletree Deakins. Bonnie received her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School and is a magna cum laude graduate from Cornell University.
