Potomac Law is pleased to announce that Teresa A. Alutto Schmidt and Iris Wong have become Partners of the firm.

Teresa ("Reese") A. Alutto-Schmidt

Reese Alutto-Schmidt is a Partner in the White Collar Defense & Investigations and Litigation practice groups, with deep experience in internal investigations, government enforcement litigation, and motions practice in state and federal courts.  She received her J.D. from the American University, Washington College of Law in 2004, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, and her B.A. in 2002 from Virginia Wesleyan College, magna cum laude.  She clerked in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland for The Honorable Roger W. Titus, and was previously part of the Government Enforcement & White Collar Crime and Litigation practice groups at Skadden Arps.

Iris Wong

Iris Wong is a Partner in the firm's Education, Administrative Law & Regulatory Practice, and Corporate practice groups.  Ms. Wong advises clients on U.S. Department of Education, state educational agency, and accrediting agency requirements.  Ms. Wong represents educational institutions in proceedings before regulatory bodies and investigations by governmental entities.  She also provides regulatory counsel to corporations and private equity firms in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations.  She received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2005 and her B.S. from the University of Virginia, in 2002.  Ms. Wong was previously Associate General Counsel of Strayer University and practiced in the Education Group at Powers Pyles.
