Potomac Law is pleased to announce that Consulting Counsel Viva Hammer will be a speaker at an Academy of European Law’s (ERA) online seminar on Thursday, April 18. She will discuss “Implications for US multinational groups” at 11:30 a.m. (CEST).

The seminar, titled European Corporate Tax Law: Recent Developments, will enable tax practitioners to keep up-to-date with the most recent developments in legislation and jurisprudence in the field of corporate taxation, according to the conference. Key topics include Global minimum level of taxation – Pillar 2; Business in Europe: Framework for income taxation; Harmonisation of transfer pricing; SME Relief Package; Tax enforcement; and CJEU case law.

Ms. Hammer previously served on the Joint Committee on Taxation at the U.S. Congress and the Office of Tax Policy at the U.S. Treasury Department. She is also at the Crawford School of Public Policy at Australian National University.
