The next FCC Open Meeting will be held August 5, 2021. The Tentative Agenda contains six items, including a Report and Order establishing a review process for STIR/SHAKEN enforcement and a Public Notice creating two Innovation Zones for Program Experimental Licenses under Part 5 of the FCC Rules. Compliance Alerts
FCC Form 499-Q is due August 2, 2021, for all filers that are not considered de minimis for Universal Service contribution purposes. The filing must report revenues from 2Q21, and projected revenues for 4Q21. The 499-Q must be filed through the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) online portal.
USAC will hold a webinar on E-rate equipment transfers and installations on July 27, 2021, at 2:00pm ET. Those who wish to attend may register here.

The House Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight will hold a hearing tomorrow, July 20, 2021, at 10:30am ET titled “Stopping Digital Thieves: the Growing Threat of Ransomware.” Scheduled witnesses include Kemba Walden, Assistant General Counsel of Microsoft, and Philip Reiner, CEO of the Institute for Security and Technology.
