We are pleased to welcome Partners Greg Gulia and Vanessa Hew to the firm’s New York office in the Intellectual Property practice.
Gregory Gulia
Mr. Gulia serves as a full-spectrum IP litigator and practitioner who counsels clients on a broad range of intellectual property issues, negotiates all forms of IP agreements, manages large trademark portfolios, and litigates IP cases. In addition to deep experience negotiating trademark and copyright licenses, purchases, and consent agreements, he has litigated trademark, copyright, false advertising, anti-counterfeiting, domain name, unfair competition, trade secrets, rights of publicity and privacy, and First Amendment cases for leading consumer products companies, major media corporations, entertainers, luxury goods makers, fashion companies, and international store chains throughout the U.S. and in international arbitrations.
Prior to joining Potomac Law, Mr. Gulia was a partner at Womble Bond Dickinson in New York City. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan School of Law and his B.S. from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Vanessa Hew
Ms. Hew’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and strategic counseling, emphasizing trademark, copyright and unfair competition matters.
Ms. Hew has a distinguished career representing some of the world’s most recognized brands in litigations and other proceedings around the country involving trademark, trade dress, copyrights, trade secret, counterfeiting, false advertising, unfair competition, defamation and breach of contract claims. She has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including personal care products, cosmetics, food and beverage products, wellness products, fashion, home care and design products, social media, software, music, and art.
For over twenty years, clients have placed their trust in Ms. Hew to provide creative and cost-effective solutions to complex intellectual property issues. She helps her clients protect, enforce and commercialize their intellectual property assets while managing and mitigating risk.
Prior to joining Potomac Law, Ms. Hew was a partner at Womble Bond Dickinson in New York City. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center as well as her B.A. from Georgetown University.
