We are pleased to announce that Richard Kanoff has joined the firm’s Boston office as a Partner in the Energy and Environmental practice.

For over 30 years, Mr. Kanoff has devoted his career to helping private and public clients understand and navigate the often-complex world of energy, climate change, innovation and technology. He often appears in regulatory forums and federal courts involving energy infrastructure projects throughout New England.

Mr. Kanoff has demonstrated experience in energy and environmental law representing a diverse group of emerging and established private and public companies, start-ups, non-profits, stakeholder groups, individuals, and municipalities.

As part of his practice, Mr. Kanoff assists clients in siting and permitting matters and in complex litigation before regulatory agencies and state and federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals (1st Circuit), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and state energy regulatory commissions in New England.

Mr. Kanoff received his J.D. from George Washington University and his B.A. from Lafayette College.
