We are pleased to welcome the following IT, Conflicts and Paralegal professionals to Potomac Law Group.

Mohammad Ibrahimi is the IT Systems Administrator and oversees the technical operations of the firm, ensuring the integrity, security and optimal performance of the firm’s IT services and its physical and virtual systems and platforms. Multi-certified in an array of cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure systems, Mohammad has experience in creating and delivering solutions tied to business growth, organizational development, and systems/network optimization in a wide range of operating environments.

He has more than a decade of experience in providing expert IT services for the private sector, the U.S. government, and international organizations. While serving in various roles in Afghanistan, including the Embassy of the United States, Mohammad was recognized with multiple honors including Mission, Eagle and Customer Service awards.

Brad Reid is the firm’s Conflicts Manager. In this critical role, he works closely with the firm’s General Counsel and assists attorneys with their compliance duties by identifying potential ethical and business-related conflicts of interest related to new matters, changes to existing matters, and lateral hires. Brad ensures all party information within the firm’s database is accurate and current. He also coordinates and retains all engagement letters and conflicts clearance documentation including conflict waiver letters.

Brad has previously served as conflicts manager at two law firms and has extensive experience with internal risk and legal services compliance. In addition to conflicts analysis, he has assisted firms with developing and launching in-house software solutions and expanding key software usage following a new system launch.

Yayoi Bourne is a Paralegal in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. Yayoi began her career in intellectual property in 2012 and has worked for both an AmLaw 200 firm and a leading IP boutique where she gained comprehensive knowledge of patent and trademark prosecution matters, both domestically and internationally.

She regularly communicates with clients and foreign associates on intellectual property matters and assists attorneys and clients with matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
