Potomac Law is pleased to announce that it has been named a leading USA trademark firm by World Intellectual Property Review (WIPR) in its inaugural ranking of USA firms and lawyers released today. Julia Anne Matheson, a Potomac Law partner, has also been recognized by WIPR as a leading U.S. trademark lawyer.
“It’s a distinct honor for Potomac Law to be recognized in WIPR’s inaugural trademark ranking,” said Marlene Laro, Potomac Law's COO. “The firm's trademark work for both our national and international clients continues to be an important part of our growing intellectual property practice.”
WIPR’s research included market analysis, reviews of submissions, and interviews with firms coast-to-coast. WIPR researchers also spoke to clients independently sourced, and as referees provided by the firms, and to international lawyers, according to WIPR.
The results detail law firms and lawyers at the forefront of their industry, navigating the impact of technological innovation on trademarks practice, the challenges of domestic and international protection, and the ever-demanding contest of representing clients in the robust arena of the court room, according to WIPR.
