Potomac Law is pleased to announce that Jessica Chod, a Partner in the firm’s Washington D.C. office, was appointed to Goizueta Business School’s Alumni Board beginning with the 2022-2023 academic year. She is one of six new members who will play a vital role in achieving the board’s mission to guide and champion alumni engagement and lifelong learning through service.

Chod received her M.B.A. from Goizueta School of Business and her J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2009.

“I’m delighted and honored to join Goizueta’s Alumni Board and serve my alma mater," said Chod. “I look forward to working with my fellow board members to advance the mission of the business school and help guide the engagement strategy for our alumni, which is 25,000 strong and growing.”

Goizueta develops business leaders of today and tomorrow with an undergraduate degree program and a full complement of MBA, EMBA, MS and PhD programs including a portfolio of non-degree executive education courses. Its full-time MBA program ranked 21st nationwide in a recent U.S. News and World Report ranking. The school is named for the late Roberto C. At Potomac Law, Chod is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate Practice where she focuses on general corporate and contract law matters, as well as corporate governance and best practices. She has experience working with clients of all sizes that operate across the globe and in various stages of the business life cycle. Chod has worked on a wide range of transactions from initial funding for small start-ups to multi-billion-dollar public company mergers. She has served as corporate counsel of a multi-national corporation, supporting multiple business units, including Communications, IT, Supply Chain and Innovation, as well as outside counsel.
