Potomac Law COO Marlene Laro is quoted in an article, "These Law Firm Leaders Are Pushing Back Against the 'Back to Office' Message," discussing the value of virtual law firms.
“It’s not unusual for a client to be uncertain about what a new model of law firm entails. But most of the clients who join us have longstanding relationships with the lawyers who are at the firm. They appreciate continuing the relationship in an arrangement that has much lower overhead, so they pay much lower rates,” Laro said.
“Most clients see the benefit of giving outside counsel the freedom to allow everyone the way to work how they’d like to work,” she added. Potomac Law has maintained a distributed workforce since 2011 and was recently named a Washington Post Top Workplace for 2021.
