Ms. Satterthwaite is known for both contentious and noncontentious trademark counseling, prosecution and portfolio management, licensing, and enforcement/litigation. She is particularly renowned for her creative work in relation to trademarks in cyberspace. Providing global trademark counseling and enforcement to key U.S. brands, and U.S. trademark counsel to leading global brands, Ms. Satterthwaite also has a strong client base in Europe where she has held leadership positions and speaking engagements for Marques, the European Trademark Owners’ Association. Ms. Satterthwaite is also a seasoned trademark litigator who has won as lead counsel on many trademark, domain name, copyright and false advertising lawsuits in federal courts in several states and in foreign countries.

The 2020 edition of the Managing Intellectual Property – IP STARS included Ms Satterthwaite. Managing Intellectual Property, based in London, is the leading periodical o​n law and developments in global intellectual property.
